TARAXA is the engineering face of GUMEX — a Polish rubber
manufacturer that has been running continuous production since 1988. What began as a regional supplier evolved into a precision
engineering house trusted by automotive, rail, and industrial
clients across four continents.
The name TARAXA derives from Taraxacum — the
scientific name of the dandelion, one of the few plants on Earth that
naturally produces latex. For us, it is not just a name: it is a philosophy.
The dandelion spreads with precision and purpose, adapts to any terrain,
and persists where others cannot. So does our rubber.
Operating from our EU-certified facility in Poland, we combine
decades of compound expertise with modern tooling capabilities —
delivering custom rubber solutions that meet the most demanding
engineering specifications.
EU-Based Manufacturing
All production takes place in Poland under strict EU quality
standards and environmental regulations.
Short Lead Times
Prototypes in days, production runs in weeks — not the months
typical of Asian sourcing chains.
ISO 9001 Certified
Full quality management system ensuring consistency from first
prototype to mass production.

02 — Capabilities
What we engineer
From a raw polymer brief to a certified production component — five core
disciplines that define TARAXA's engineering scope.
01Core Process
Compression & Injection Moulding
High-precision rubber moulding using both compression and injection processes. We produce complex geometries, tight tolerances, and consistent surface finishes across small and large production volumes.
Up to 800T press force
Complex multi-cavity tooling
Tolerances ±0.1mm
02Speciality
Rubber-to-Metal Bonding
Chemically bonded rubber-metal assemblies with exceptional adhesion strength. Ideal for vibration isolation, anti-vibration mounts, bushings, and structural damping.
Primer-based adhesion
High-temperature bonding
Steel, aluminium, brass
03R&D
Compound Formulation
In-house compound development tailored to specific performance requirements — temperature range, chemical resistance, hardness, elongation, and ageing properties.
7 base polymers

04 — Materials
Seven polymers. Infinite possibilities.
Our compound library spans the full spectrum of elastomeric performance.
Every formulation is optimised in-house for your specific temperature,
chemical, and mechanical requirements.
EPDM
Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer
The workhorse of outdoor rubber applications. EPDM's saturated backbone provides exceptional UV and ozone resistance, making it the default choice for exterior sealing and waterproofing.
The industry standard for oil-contact applications. NBR's acrylonitrile content can be tuned for the precise balance of fuel resistance and low-temperature flexibility your application demands.
Neoprene sits at the intersection of mechanical performance and chemical resistance. Its inherent flame retardancy makes it valuable in demanding electrical and industrial environments.
Where temperature extremes meet purity requirements. Silicone's inorganic backbone enables performance across a 260°C operating window, with FDA and USP Class VI compliant grades available.
The premium choice for aggressive chemical environments. FKM withstands concentrated acids, fuels, and aromatic solvents that would rapidly degrade standard elastomers.
The original elastomer — still unmatched for dynamic applications requiring the highest energy return and fatigue resistance. The compound from which TARAXA takes its botanical identity.
The high-volume workhorse. SBR's excellent abrasion resistance and favourable cost profile make it the rational choice for wear surfaces, flooring, and general industrial sealing.
